Born and raised in Oakton, Virginia, Christina Morris has been singing since before she could walk. Her father, Barry, is also a talented musician and he raised Christina to love and appreciate all sorts of music, especially classic rock. Christina gets much of her inspiration from those classic rock musicians she listened to throughout her childhood such as Joan Jett, Van Halen, Eric Clapton and so many more. Christina began as a Country, Pop and Rock crossover gal.
She dreamed of taking the Country music charts by storm. Christina began to write her own music when she was 15 years old, mentored by Washington, D.C local legend, Mary Ann Redmond. While studying with Redmond, Christina's creativity and talent grew to a whole new level.
Christina gained an entirely new appreciation for the heart and love behind music. Mary Ann's soulful flare inspired Christina to reevaluate and recreate her style. Christina now chooses to blend soul, pop, rock and even a bit of country in her songs.
Every song she writes is a harmonic surprise. Now, Christina is writing and recording while studying Music and Entertainment Industries at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Christina is 19 years old and working hard to achieve her dream of reaching millions of people with her music. She is a spirited young lady who doesn't take life or her gift for granted. She hopes to change the world someday, one song at a time.
