조스 스톤은 백인이면서 특유의 흑인창법을 잘 구사하는 노래 잘하는 가수이다.
배우활동도 열띰히지만 하여간 앨범도 꾸준히 나오는거 같아
방갑긴하다. 필자는 이런 스타일은 그리 좋아라하진 않기에
몇곡빼곤 감흥은 안나지만 다른분은 어떨진 모르겠다..
사실 이 처자를 좋아하게 된 계기는 블론디(김아중이 부른 마리아의 원조밴드이다.)의 불후의 명곡인 One way Or another(영화 코요테 어글리에서 바이올렛이 호프bar에 올라가서 손님들 진정시킬 용도로 잠시 부르는거 들었음 ㅎ.. ) 를 데보라 누님이랑
같이 불렀던걸 넘 즐감해서 그때부터 조금 관심을 둔 가수이다. 그래서 참고해보라고 듀엣 영상을 넣어보았다 ㅎㅎ..
데보라 누님도 나이가 들어서 그런지 힘드신거 같은느낌이 ㅋ..
어쨌든 매번 앨범마다 몇곡씩이 괜찮은곡이 있는 처자인데 요번 앨범에선 5번곡과 갠적으로 좋아라하는 스타일인 팝락풍의 11번곡이 내맘을 사로잡은듯..특히 조스 스톤보다도 남성보이스가 더 매력적인건

Joss Stone (born Jocelyn Eve Stoker on 11 April 1987) is an English soul and R&B singer–songwriter and actress. Stone emerged to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions, which made the 2004 Mercury Prize shortlist. Her second album, the equally multi-platinum Mind, Body & Soul, topped the UK Albums Chart for one week and spawned the top ten hit "You Had Me", Stone's most successful single on the UK Singles Chart to date. Both album and single each received one nomination at the 2005 Grammy Awards, while Stone herself was nominated for Best New Artist. Stone's latest album, Introducing Joss Stone, released in March 2007, has achieved gold status by the RIAA. Stone will release her fourth album, Colour Me Free, on October 20, 2009.
Throughout her career, Stone has sold over ten million albums worldwide. Her first three albums have sold over 2,722,000 copies in the United States, while her first two albums have sold over 2,000,000 copies in United Kingdom. Stone has won two BRIT Awards and one Grammy Award. She also made her acting debut in late 2006 with the fantasy adventure film Eragon, as the witch Angela, and she made her television debut portraying Anne of Cleves in the Showtime series The Tudors in 2009.
